While I was thinking “what should I eat while staying at home?” I realized and planned that the thing I may cook must be delicious and healthy. I opened the closed and the materials I saw was clear; puff dough, goat cheese. While I was thinking what I can cook with these materials, I planned to cook salsa by getting those materials. As a result I had puff dough sticks with goat cheese and mint salsa.
Puff doughes become a simple, quick and healthy snack. This will be a way more delicious and healthy for your children when compared with potatoes and/or corn chips.
Puff Dough Sticks with Goat Cheese, Mint Salsa
100 grams goat cheese
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 pinch thyme
1 pinch basil
2 grams isot
2 large tomatoes
1 medium purple onion
1 large green pepper
3/1 bunch fresh mint
5 grams of olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
Blend all ingredients except puff dough homogeneously in a small mixing bowl. While you left the puff dough in room temperature, cut the square of puff dough into 3 equal parts when it is possible to form. This should be average of 3 fingers thickness. Put the blended cheese mix with a teaspoon to the middle of the puff dough in a line and wrap the puff dough. Line the puff doughes in which the closed part will be at the bottom on the baking paper. Close it completely and form it by stretching them. Bake it at 180 degrees around 10-15 minutes until the puff doughes are golden yellow color.
Peel the tomatoes and chop them in hemstitch forms. Barbecue the purple onions and peppers. Chop them in tomatoes length. Get the leaves from the bunch of fresh mint and chop them. Mix the all ingredients and add olive oil, lemon juice, pepper and salt, respectively.
